Label Designs for bottles to Stand out

The world of packaging does speak to others what you’re trying to go for, and the representation of the brand.

Your label design in a lot of products, especially bottles, is a huge differentiator from one element of the packaging to the next.

Here, we’ll look at the best and most creative label designs in order to spark some inspiration, and to get the attention of all the customers you want!

Broken Heart Gin

This is a heart label that Broken Heart spirits uses, and it’s a very creative way for the addition of your designs to the packaging

The hearts show that Gin is good to have and is great for your heart. It aptly utilizes the bottle space and takes advantage of the way that it’s transparent and round.   Half the label’s heart is put near the front, right over where the name is.   The other skewed part is near the back, creating a heart that’s broken.

This can be a fun way to manipulate the types of drinks packaging and show to others just how the colors and shapes are made through label placement, and specific overlapping that happens.

Sprite Live Bottle

The Live from the Label sprite campaign is a unique one as it put a lot of emphasis on the specific Sprite labels.

It had a QR code that, when scanned, took you to virtual concert links. They are great, as it can help net a bigger market, and it allowed one to align not just the strategy coca cola has of marketing around the world, but also fostered a unique connection, as this was pt out during the pandemic, when people were all social distancing.

You can utilize the QR code idea in order to bring people better together.

Barolo Balena

This is a unique bottle because it’s got a whale-shaped type of label with great details.

It debosses the skeleton of the whale, creating a visual and tactile contrast between the label itself, and the design.

They utilize debossing of the Barolo on there, and foil stamping with a great color of gold in order to highlight this title with a more luxurious type of feel.

The whale tail is peelable, and inside is the information which showcases the creative label use.   The gold part on the other placement of this also is good for surprises to customers. The curling of the tail also creates a simulation of flow and movement.

It is a good way to apply tactile senses, and stimulating this through the packaging label itself.

Absolut Vodka

Finally, we have the redesign of the Absolut vodka label, where it uses a small paper strip near the bottom. Sure, at first it looks like a white label with some text, but if you look a little closer, you see the watermark along the top right, and the blue signature part along the level.

It’s not the only thing that’ll populate the bottle, but it also comes with unique embossing of the different words that are printed that directly show what’s there on the bottle.

Everything harmonizes, creating a detailed, yet also super simple type of packaging.

When you apply this to your packaging, consider the way the packaging does look from far away, and the smaller details that will bring these designs together, creating a fun, and unique combination for everyone to enjoy.

Labels do matter, and here, we went over some of the best ways to take advantage of these labels, so that you as well, can enjoy all of the unique elements.

The Hidden Costs of Bad Packaging in Customer Returns

Returns are never fun. While they might happen because you have the wrong size, sometimes they happen because of the packaging being poor, resulting in destruction of the object. Though it might seem like nothing, over time, this inadequate product damage causes return spiks, generating a whole other problem for your packaging.

The Financial Impact

Refunds are a big one. When you have to get the customer to return it, you often have to offer a refund, which again will cause problems with your financial outlook.

Then, there’s the shipping costs from this. if you have to ship out another, you need to pay for it, and that adds up over time.

Finally, negative reviews. That’s never fun. Bad reviews create more damage over time, and from there, it results in poor business. Customers will choose others rather than your business if you are constantly bombarded with negative reviews.

Tips for Packaging Audits

If you’re worried about poor packaging and returns, the best way to fix it is to prevent it.    you need to test your current packaging for certain conditions, which of course include dropping, handling, and other such factors. If you know it’s going to an area with extreme or different weather, test it for that as well. Remember, with packaging audits, you’re looking to make sure that this item will stay strong and put together, without any issues with returns.

Consider a Return-Friendly Design

If you are worried about returns, or if you know that they might happen, consider saving some money on a return-friendly design.

A resealable mailer is one example. Ti will be sealed up again, and then sent back. including the return label or making it accessible also adds to the return-friendliness of such an item.

Adding a return label inside, if you know that there’s  going to be trouble, should be considered. Though it might seem a little excessive, you never know, and while it might cost a little bit early on, it will save you money. Some companies are able to shoulder free returns, building better customer repute. The last thing you want is to not offer such returns, because then customers are going to be upset.

Finally, you have to look at the packaging. A reinforced container is one example of this.   with such a container, you will be able to create a stronger, more pronounced sort of packaging, helping to shoulder many of the hidden costs of this sort of thing. making this even more fortified means that your packaging will help to expand the abilities in which your customers are able to return these items.

It's a Customer Loyalty Anglee too!

If you’re worried about returns, then you should look at the packaging you put forth.

A better form of packaging offers less frustrations and problems for those who purchase these items. With less frustrations and returns on both you and the customer’s pat, it results in happier customers.

Happy customers will come back, so by giving this another chance, you will build and put forth repeat buyers, offering them something magical and exciting, especially when building better customer returns. Again, poor packaging causes problems, but when you’ve got good packaging and less worries for returns, then you will have a happier, more reliable customer that will offer more business in the future. They also tell their friends too, especially when you’re looking to build a better business, and that customer reputation grows, offering you more ways to expand, and grow your business as a result as well.
